Having Trouble With Matrix Multipliaction?

Sometimes using a different approach to the same topic can help us better understand it.

Here's a link to Purplemath.com that illustrates how to do matrix multiplication.

Keep in mind, she shows her work a little differently than we do.  In class, we set up a single work matrix, three levels deep for each number in the matrix.  She splits them up into three separate matrices.  I would appreciate it if you would use ONE work matrix with three levels.  It is also easier to check when they are all in one matrix.  Remember to write an answer matrix when you are done.

The lesson is three pages long.  Don't forget to look at all three.

Welcome to the PreCalculus Blog!

Today's blog will review what is expected from a typical homework assignment.

I have been impressed with many of your assignments and I appreciate the time and effort you put into your work.

Purplemath.com is where I first saw this detailed plan for doing math assignments.  Here's a link to the website by Elizabeth Stapel: http://www.purplemath.com/guidline.htm.

I have also set up a page, to the right of Home, where I have posted the homework guidelines that I would like you to use for Precalculus here at Chaminade.
